Release notes.
Design for your own computer: the complete workspace, free. No account, no sign-in, and nothing is sent anywhere. One package for macOS, Windows and Linux. It needs Python 3.9 or newer (nothing else to install), or Docker. To start: unzip design-local-v0.1.2.zip, open a terminal in the design-local folder and run python3 start.py (Windows: py start.py), or docker compose up -d. Design opens at http://localhost:3001, or the next free port. Your work is saved in the data folder inside design-local; --data <folder> and --port <port> change that. It listens on localhost only. Includes Work, Tasks, Backlog, Overview and Roadmap views; milestones, projects, iterations, objectives, documents and labels; custom workflows; images, checklists and comments; six skins in light or dark; JSON export and restore; and the REST API, with its guide at http://localhost:3001/design-api.md. New in 0.1.2: the D mark is gone; the sidebar shows the Design name and the browser tab a new icon. Checksum: design-local-v0.1.2.zip.sha256 (check it with shasum -a 256 -c design-local-v0.1.2.zip.sha256). Full instructions: https://getdesign.hu/run-locally/
